Senior Lawyer

  • Job Context

    We are looking an experienced lawyer who could provides legal counsel, drafts and reviews legal documents, and represents clients in negotiations and court proceedings. Key responsibilities include conducting legal research, analyzing precedents, managing legal risks, and preparing contracts and other formal agreements.

    Lawyers advocate for their clients’ interests while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. They are also responsible for maintaining client confidentiality and offering strategic, situation-specific legal advice.

  • Job Responsibility

    • Manage all aspects of the organization's litigation matters, including but not limited to civil, criminal, and administrative cases. Oversee the development of case strategies, legal arguments, and tactics for successful outcomes.
    • Conduct in-depth legal research to analyze and interpret laws, regulations, and precedents relevant to ongoing and potential litigation matters. Stay updated on changes in relevant legal frameworks.
    • Prepare and review legal documents, briefs, motions, pleadings, and other necessary materials for court appearances and hearings. Ensure all filings meet legal requirements and deadlines.
    • Represent the clients/organizations in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations with opposing counsel.
    • Engage in settlement  of disputes  
    • Collaborate with internal departments,
    • Select and manage external law firms and outside counsel when required, ensuring cost-effective legal representation and adherence to the organization's legal standards.
    • Assess potential legal risks and liabilities associated with ongoing and potential litigation matters. Advise management on the best course of action to mitigate risks.
    • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to litigation processes.
    • Also performs related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
    • And other responsibilities may direct from the employer

  • Educational Requirement

     ·       Degree in LLB with 5 years of experience

    ·       Writing skill is mandatory 

    ·       Solid knowledge of financial regulations, and tax laws.

    ·       Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    ·       Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with high accuracy.

  • Experience Requirement

     - Minimum of 5 years proven experience in litigation and drafting legal document.
